One of the most appreciable iOS features “Night Shift” is now available on Mac starting with macOS Sierra 10.12.4. Once enabled, it transfers the colors of the display to the warmer end of the color spectrum. As a result, your eyes won’t burn or strain.
The obvious advantage of using Night Shift on Mac is that you will have a better night’s sleep. Depending on your need, you can either set it to get activated automatically or set a custom schedule. Let’s find out how it works!
Night Shift is a display mode introduced in iOS 9.3. Unfortunately, it isn't available on older devices, including MacBooks older than early 2015. F.lux is an app that offers Night Shift-style brightness and hue adjustments depending on the time of day. It's been a great tool for. MacOS Sierra 10.12.4 with the new Night Shift mode is now available for download from your Mac App Store. I love everything that Apple has been doing with their macOS Sierra. Features that you will only see on an iOS device get brought over to the Mac. If you upgraded to the newest macOS version, you will get a chance to use Siri, a smart assistant that Apple introduced back in iOS 5.
